Старцы: Церкви Истинных Духовных Молокан
Писмо вам от Духа Святого:
Это вам не приветствие, а обличение Святаго
Духа. Кто вы, которые воздымают голову над разумом Божем? И кто вы,
чтобы
Он вам внимал? За то что наш народ пошёл против Бога Духа Святого, Царя
Духов*, Бога верных на земле, и против Его обрядов, праздников Его,
устава и повелений во всех трёх книгах**,
Он сокрушит
все ваше непотребные веши и сосуды яко гошрки глинянные.
Он сокрушит их!
Он только прощает тех которые придут нищим и чистым сердцем. А ваше
упование,
есть ваша смерть!
Это для каждого престола***
который не покорился нашему Царю!

Elders: CHURCH OF THE TRUE SPIRITUAL MOLOKANS
A Letter to you from the Holy Spirit:
This is not a greeting to you, but an
accusation
of the Holy Spirit. Who are you, who lift their heads above the mind of
God? And who are you, that He should listen to you? Because our people
went against God's Holy Spirit, King of Spirits*, God
to the faithful on earth, and against His rituals, His holidays,
statutes
and commandments in all three books**, He will
destroy
all your useless things and vessels [utensils] as if they were pots of
clay. He will destroy them! He only forgives those that come to him
with
a meek spirit and with a clean heart. But your hope is your
death!
This is for all the prestols***
that did not submit to our King!"

The ceremonial table is called prestol
(the throne
or altar in Russian Orthodoxy). As used by the Molokans, the word prestol
refers primarily to the community's spiritual leadership, a group of
men
who, during the sobranie, sit pri stole — that is,
occupy
the first row at the ceremonial table. |
