Dear Mr. Conovaloff,

Thank you for your message of October 28. We are glad that the articles presented in our website is of interest for you. I would like to inform you that the extracts you have mentioned are brief summaries of articles published in the Center’s journal Hayatsk Yerevanits (A View from Yerevan). The full name of our institution is the Armenian Center for National and International Studies, a leading think tank in Armenia. Both the Center and the journal are founded by Raffi K. Hovannisian, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The Hayatsk Yerevanits monthly journal is the only full-color news, policy, and culture magazine which is printed in Armenia and distributed both in the republic and abroad.

To promote public relations and the development of civil society our journal serves as a rostrum where various authors express their opinions, share their views, make comments, and conduct analyses. “A Handful of Russia in the Armenian Highlands” is an article published in our journal. The author Mark Grigorian is pleased to contact you personally. Therefore, I kindly submit his e-mail address for your consideration, markos@media.am  The original Armenian-language issue containing their articles may be obtained at Abril, Berj, or Sardarabad book-stores in Glendale, CA. [See below]

Thanking you for your kind cooperation, I remain,

Very truly yours,
Hrach Hakobyan
Executive Director and Editor-in-Chief
