They arrived in Glendale during the Paskha holidays. Their son, Ivan went to the Railroad
Station on a wagon to meet them. The writings of Maxim Gavrilovich were printed in the
book: Spirit and Life |

Ivan Alexaich had a cheese factory in Glendale from about 1929 to 1945. They had to close
because there was not enough labor during the war years. Some of their products carried
the Kraft label. |

If you have old photographs, please submit them to us, we will be happy to publish them. |

The old cheese factory building still stands off the corner of Glendale Blvd. and 75th
